EARLY YEARS
I was a competitive swimmer for over a decade. 2-hour practices at 5 am, followed by another grueling 2 hours in the evening was the norm.
For a while, I was setting records and winning state championships––all while sporting a six pack.
It seemed like I was the pinnacle of health and fitness.
My Low Point
However, in the background, I was struggling with:
Insomnia
Anxiety
Acne
Food intolerances
Asthma
Got sick often
Unable to gain muscle (weighing in at 158 lbs of skin and bones at 6'2")
Eventually, I became depressed and hopeless.
I thought my life was over before it even started.
The Journey
A fire was lit within me to understand what I was going through, and if I could find a way to feel normal.
I got to work, spending hours researching and self-experimenting.
After completing several certifications in Personal Training, Nutrition Coaching, Gut Health, and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience, I began applying what I had learned...
return to Human
These were my results:
Gained 10+ pounds of muscle
Acne significantly decreased
Ate foods I didn't think I'd be able to eat again without symptoms
Slept like a baby, night after night
It was then Return to Human was born.
The goal?
To return home to your highest expression of health and resilience.
